Q-Factor Ltd ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (Menachem Begin Road 132, Floor 20, Tel Aviv 6103201, Israel) is the database owner for the purposes of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 ("PPL") and applicable Privacy Protection Regulations. We build AI-enhanced neutral-atom quantum computing hardware and operate qfactorhq.org as our primary public-facing platform for research collaboration, hardware access requests, and technical information.

This Privacy Policy describes the personal data we collect from visitors, prospective research partners, and collaborators who interact with the Q-Factor website and platform services ("the Service"), how we use and protect that data, and the rights available to individuals under Israeli law. • Identity and contact data you submit directly: name, institutional affiliation, email address, phone number, and research focus area, provided when you complete the hardware access request form or contact us by email.
• Communication content: the content of emails and messages you send to [email protected] regarding collaboration, hardware access, or technical inquiries.
• Technical and usage data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and referring URL, collected via server logs and basic analytics when you access qfactorhq.org.
• Analytics data: aggregated, anonymised usage metrics to understand how researchers navigate the site. This data does not identify individuals.

We do not collect financial account details, government identification numbers, health data, or biometric identifiers. We do not process sensitive personal information as defined under the PPL except where you voluntarily disclose it in a free-text message.

3. Purposes of Processing

We process personal data for the following specific purposes connected to Q-Factor's research-instrument business:

• Hardware access evaluation: to assess and respond to requests from research groups and laboratories who wish to join our early-access partner program.
• Research collaboration: to communicate with academic and industrial partners about joint research, publication opportunities, and technical collaboration.
• Site operation: to maintain and improve qfactorhq.org, diagnose technical issues, and understand how the technical content is being used by our target audience.
• Legal and compliance obligations: to meet requirements under applicable Israeli law, including tax, corporate, and security regulations.

We do not use contact data or communication content to train machine learning models. We do not use personal information for unrelated marketing purposes. The depth of our data collection reflects the nature of our audience: researchers performing due diligence on a hardware platform, not consumers of a consumer product.

Personal information is shared only with service providers acting as processors under written agreement, and as required by Israeli law. Our hosting and analytics infrastructure may process data outside of Israel. 6. Data Retention

If a hardware access request does not result in an active collaboration, we retain the submitted contact details for up to 24 months to allow follow-up inquiries, after which the data is deleted.

7. Security Incidents

Where notification is required by the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017, we will report security incidents to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority and to affected data subjects in accordance with the applicable notification obligations and timelines.
